Not really sure how this thing works at all but...

[A sigh and he pulls back slightly so he's in full view now, hesitance on his expression before it shifts to one more serious]

If anyone's even out there... I want to know what's going on. If it's someone's idea of a joke, it's not very funny..

[Oh, it's Oz. Again. It looks like he forgot everything about this place... again.

Still, that doesn't stop Noel from being visibly surprised by him being here. And that expression on his face is really scaryandit'smakingherevenmorenervous. ;A;]

[Hearing that was enough to make him blink a bit before turning his gaze to somewhere to the side of him]

Um...! Actually, this might sound strange but when some people leave this place, they end up forgetting everything that's happened here... I-It's not the first time it happened. You forgot the last time you returned too...

[That was certainly new to him. He stares at her with a bit of an unimpressed look before sighing lightly. Normally he's not in such a bad mood but... it'll get better.]

[Oh, that unimpressed look. Noel was used to receiving those from a lot of people, but that never stopped her from reacting with a dejected expression. She shakes her head.]

... Not willingly. If there were, I'm sure there wouldn't be many residents here right now. Most of the people who live here were also taken from their worlds, myself included. I've been stuck here for almost a year now...

[Ah, that reminds her--]

I-It's not all that bad, though! Everyone here is really nice, a-and there's people from your world here too!

[That is a bit startling, knowing this girl's been here for a year with no way out. However... his rather serious expression starts to let up hearing that others from his home is here]

Ummm... Let's see, as far as I know, right now it's...

[Noel had no idea about what transpired back in their world, so she naively begins to list off the names. It was easy, since those people all lived under one roof.]

Miss Ada, Miss Sharon, Mister Break, Miss Vanessa... Elliot... and Leo. They all live together in one of the mansions, and I visit a lot, so um... maybe I could escort you there later?

[His expression positively lights up hearing the amount of people that are here from home; all of whom he was worried about. By now Oz's eyes are wide and all of a sudden he's full of energy]

R-Really?! That would be great~!!

I didn't know everyone else was already here..

[Oh! She managed to cheer him up a bit! Noel feels so proud of herself, and it shows with the smile on her face.]

Aside from Miss Vanessa and Miss Ada, they've been here longer than I have, actually. Time works pretty funny here. Even if you spend months or years in Somarium, when you end up going back, it's like nothing happened.

Um, no one really knows how it works either, but that's really what happens...

[She's certainly glad that it was the case, though. She wouldn't want to get discharged from the NOL. That'd be bad news for her family.]

Oh, actually, there's quite a few things. First off, the thing we're talking through is called a 'Dreamberry'. It's like a phone, but you can also see people from far away, rather than just speaking to them. It contains a map of the city, and you can send your location if you need people to find you. It's very convenient, except...

[She frowns as she finishes her sentence.]

... sometimes it, um, records your dreams and shows it to everyone, even if you don't want it to.

[Nods slowly at the first half of her words, registering them all fairly easily. However, at the last bit is when it makes him pause. Oz's eyes widen before he looks away and looking a bit... apprehensive about such news]

...But... dreams are personal. I... there's some things I don't want others to see...

[She's actually seen a few, and she knew that Oz's cheerfulness only went so far.]

Everyone has things they don't want others to see. Um, luckily, it doesn't show every dream you have...

[On some level it's reassuring to hear that it's not every dream that's shown but the fact still remains. He knows he probably will have some rather dark dreams and its not something he wants other people to see.

However he's thankful for the change in subject and he nods at her explanation as he puts on a smile] I can do that.

[Espoir wasn't far from her location, so it only takes several minutes for Noel to track down and meet Oz at the location he sent her. She smiles and waves to him as she approaches.]

Hey! Sorry for the wait; I... I got here as fast as I could!

[Hearing her voice he looks up and stands up from where he'd been sitting on the edge of the fountain, brushing off his blue outfit. His formal attire looking rather out of place for the most part.

He offers her a bright smile, full of energy compared to what he'd been like when he'd first arrived]

[He did quite stand out, which was why Noel had no trouble spotting him. She gestures towards a specific direction, which would lead out of the rustic village of Espoir and into the futuristic city of Somni. Luckily, Noel's constant patrol routes made her used to this place enough that she no longer got lost. Unless she spaces out, that is.]
